Why am I not getting an alert?

You may not be receiving an alert for one of the following reasons:

  • You have created the alert less than 30 minutes ago. Please wait 30 minutes and check it is working.

  • Your email provider or cellphone carrier (SMS) has blocked the emails or texts.

  • Your email is in the ‘other’ or 'promotions folder

  • Your gateway has gone offline and FarmRoad hasn’t received any data relevant to the alert configuration

  • One or more of the parameters in your alert configuration result in the alert never being triggered. E.g. you have configured the alert for when temperatures go above 50 degrees C

 

Actions to resolve:

  • Please check Data Studio to see whether you are receiving data from your device(s).
  • Please check your user profile to ensure your correct phone number is entered.
  • Please check your Spam email box.
  • Please check your ‘other’ or ‘promotions’ folder
  • Please check your carriers spam filter settings.
  • Please check you have configured your alert with the correct parameters. Please see the FAQs below for tips when configuring your alert.
